Frequently Asked Questions
01 Getting Started
How do I add my Cloudflare account?
Click the FlareBar menu bar icon, then go to Settings → General and click Add Account... under the Accounts section. Follow the steps to create and paste your Cloudflare API token.
What API token permissions do I need?
The easiest way is to use the "Read all resources" template when creating your token in the Cloudflare dashboard. This grants read-only access to all account resources. You can create a token under My Profile → API Tokens.
Is my API token stored securely?
Yes. Your API token is stored in the macOS Keychain, the same secure storage used by Safari and other system apps. It's never transmitted anywhere except directly to the Cloudflare API over HTTPS.
02 Using the App
How do I search for resources?
Press ⌘F or click Search... in the menu to open the search window. Type to filter across all your resources and subpages.
How do I open a resource in the Cloudflare dashboard?
